Why did we decide to join the 1% for the Planet movement? First, we’re in good company! Clif Bar, Volcom, Patagonia, Petco, Hess Collection Winery, Steelhead Vineyards, musicians Jack Johnson and Jackson Browne, Klean Kanteen, and New Belgium Brewing are just a few of the almost 700 American businesses participating. Second, we want to be a positive force in environmental stewardship through thought, word and deed. Third, we believe in leading the way of social entrepreneurship by promoting how we’re socially responsible. We believe our clients will appreciate our many contributions and will become lifelong loyal partners in this journey to make the world a better place today and for future generations.

We donate 1% of sales to the 1% for the Planet movement. That’s right…not 1% of profits, which is arbitrary based on how cost-effective an operation runs. We had many choices to offset our carbon footprint or balance how our business operations are taxing the Earth’s natural resources. This movement seemed the most comprehensive and funds can be distributed to the global environmental organizations of our choice.
